The Coffee Addict.

Okay, so i was sleeping cosily, after who-knows-what woke me up, i really am quite sure that the alarm clock rang as it used to (even though it's not), i went down stairs and started my meal of the day --- breakfast. After swallowing 4 pieces of bread, a piece of choc cake bread, half a slice of eight grain bread and finally a piece of dark chocolate, i forced myself to stop eating (even though i'm still quite hungry), I ran myself a cup of espresso to begin my day. Walking through the path way in the leaving hall, i saw the clock, unbelievably, showing me its both hands pointing at 4am only. I rubbed my eyes as i thought that it might be the wrong sight of it. But nope, still 4am. All i have to blame is my body system, which i think it had automatically whined itself to this time for waking up, because not to mention, i wake up almost everyday around this time/or earlier from the beginning of the year. Okay, i'll know what is going on your mind: why on earth waking up this early?!

Here's my answer: Finishing homeworks + study. Now you must be thinking, siao. Yeap, because I'm too tired at night after a long day from school to piano/ballet, i really am gonna collapse. This method works for me so that i get my good night rest (even though still not enough) AND to finish my homeworks without delaying. :D

Oh ya, speaking of espresso, okay, never mind, from coffee first (i changed to espresso these few days bcuz espresso seem to be much stronger) i was still wondering when did i start to pick up this caffeine habit?! Trying to have flash backs from the past, i finally recalled that my first time picking up this habit was since the first examination in KC (my dearest high school) . That's when the time i found out this new way of studying before the exam: sleep straight away after school and wake up in the middle of 12am and start studying till you enter the exam hall. But i wouldn't have stayed awake without the sake of caffeine, so naturally coffee has become my all time exam-buddy since that day onwards.

Well, I remembered there's this one time where i bought a glass bottle of Nescafe from 7-eleven the day before exam, and when i reached home, i accidentally broke the whole thing by slipping it off my hands, i tried and tried to take the least of coffee on the floor so that it can still (at least) lasts for me till the next day. But much as i was like a caffeine-ghost, i found out that none of the coffee powder can/ nor be used because of the shredded/ serpihan glasses found bits in the coffee powder. Even though i knew that no coffee = die for me, but the fact that had told me i'll die EVEN FASTER if those shredded glasses were going to cut into my stomach and cling on to my digestive walls. So i just leaved it and swap it away and thought that i'll survive without coffee at least ONE day.But a big thanks to the carelessness of mine, I FAILED THE PAPER FOR NEXT DAY. Seriously, my eye lids was like a few pounds heavy, and i ended up sleeping through my study session.

:(

From that day onwards, i've learned my lesson: Exams definately WON'T go without coffee, and therefore, everytime exam's approaching, I have to make a double-triple check on the availability of coffee in the kitchen, by assuring that i'll NOT doze off half way studying.

Though from Form1 till Form 3, this technique of studying still works for me, and passed my papers (not to say flying colours), but with a fairly satisfying results (occasionally), but from this year onwards (Form 4), try using this method AGAIN, and i bet that NO ONE would survive till the year end with a paper : unfailed.

That is why, drinking coffee almost everyday has been a regime for me. I don't call myself as a serious coffee junkie who drinks up to 4 to 5 cups a day, because i'm still able to limit myself by taking up the most for 2 cups per day only, because I still don't fantasise the taste of coffee, I just drank it for the sake of keeping me awake.

But seriouly, the fact is that, a suitable amount of coffee is beneficial to our health, it helps to increase our heart rate and aid in burning fats!!! :D Otherwise, it may hurt and strain your liver by hardly detoxifying the excess amount of caffeine in the body. So no one should ever over take it!
